Creating an Account
Creating an account on Misticpets is free and easy! To begin, simply go to the Misticpets homepage at misticpets.com. To the right of the welcome message you'll see this image:
If you click that image you will be taken to the registration page. If you are not already there, you can click our above image to be taken to that page.
The first part of the registration shows you the Misticpets Terms & Conditions. Make sure you read through all of it (you'll have to use the scroller within the box to read every bit), and then click 'I Agree to the above Terms' if you agree with the terms and can follow them. You'll then be taken to a new page, which is the second half of the registration!
There are several boxes of this page which you'll use to fill in your account information. The first box is 'username', so put in the username you desire to use on the site. The next is 'password'. Make sure you've read our account safety guide before making this password! The third box asks you to enter your password again, just to be sure that you have entered it correctly and don't end up accidentally giving yourself the wrong password. Then you can enter whichever e-mail you use most often or for pet sites in the next box.
The birthday drop-downs are there so that Misticpets knows that you are over 13. For everyone's safety, users have to either be 13 or older or have parent permission to join Misticpets. First select the month you were born in from the month drop down, then the day, and then the year. Next you're asked to select your gender. The last bit is a box which you can put a check in. It asks "Are you under the age of 13?". Do NOT check the box if you are 13 or older. By checking the box you're telling us that yes, you are under 13. You're not required to check the box or do anything with the box otherwise.
If you are, however, under 13 you'll have to send a form to the Mistic Staff with your parents' or guardians' permission. The form you fill out and the address you send it to is not yet ready, so for those of you who have joined as under 13 will have much of Misticpets blocked off to you until then.
When you're finished, just click the 'Register' button, and you're set!
