What are the costs and benefits to opening an Alliance?

The cost to open your own Alliance is 100k.
With that initial fee you can invite or admit, 5 members
to the group. (this number does include yourself)
Along with your starter members, you are given the
starter bank for donations, for free.

Now that I know the cost of opening my own Alliance,
what are some of the other things I can add over time
(please add costs and uses).

- Member Upgrades -
0 - 5 members (included in creation)
6 - 10 members = 500k mc.
11 - 25 members = 1 million mc
26 - 50 members = 2.5 million mc.

- Forum Upgrades -
Forums upgrades come in "sets". Each set is fully customizable,
and contains 10 individual threads. At this time Alliances have
a capped limit of 2 Forum sets.
Initial forum Upgrade = 100k mc
Secondary Forum Upgrade = 200k mc

- Mass Mail -
The Mass Mail upgrade allows you to send a private mail to
all of your members at one time. This is great for updating
members on new events. Rallying activity if things should go
a bit quiet, announcing new events and reminding members
of current events and deadlines.
Mass Mail Upgrade = 500k mc

- Alliance Crest -
The Alliance Crest upgrade allows you to show your indiviusality
in the mass list of all Alliances. With this addition you can upload
your very own Crest. This is a permanent upload option, so you
can update and change your crest as needed.
Alliance Crest Upgrade = 500k mc

- Alliance Shop -
This one is a bit on the pricier side, but if well maintained will
pay for itself quickly. With the V2 Alliance update, you will
discover a new Donation button in your Allaince Donations area.
This allows members to donate items directly into your shop stock.
All that is needed is for the Lead to go set prices. When items are
purchased, the mc is deposited directly to the Alliance bank.
Alliance Shop Upgrade = 5 million mc

- Alliance Game -
This upgrade is a bit fun! This will give a game system coded
similar to the sites Trivia, W/W/W, Dist Pi, and Totally Random.
The Alliance leads would be able to add an event, option in mc
prizes, and update as often as wanted. The mc winnings are
paid to winning members directly from the donations bank.
Alliance Game Upgrade = 1 million mc

- Alliance Poll -
This upgrade will allow you to see what your members are
thinking, looking for and how they feel about, well, anything!
Once this perk is bought you can change and update it as
often as you want to.
Alliance Poll Upgrade = 500k mc

- News Anchor -
This perk allows you to have a seperate page to post your
Alliance news and updates. Along with this comes the ability
to create a News Anchor (yes, a pet!) of your own to live in
your Alliance. You can choose species, color and name.
(in the future, who knows what this pet will be able to do)
News Anchor Upgrade = 2 million mc

How do the donations work, and what can I use them for?

Donations of mc are made by Alliance members directly in the
Alliance. The mc goes into the donations bank and remains there
until the alliance lead decides how they need to be used.
At this time, the options are, use for alliance upgrades, and, if a
game upgrade is purchased, to give winnings to members.

Items donations are available only if the shop upgrade is
purchased for the alliance. At that time there will be a system
automatically added to the alliances donations area. That system
allows members to donate items directly to the alliance shop.
Shop funds from sales are deposited directly to the donations bank.

Should an alliance lead decide to leave the alliance, all funds rollover
for use to the new lead. Should an alliance close, be closed by
admin for rule infractions, the donations left in the bank would
go into an "Alliance Pot" used by the overall site admins for future
alliance events, such as (example only!) Alliance Stock Wars.

What is an Alliance Coucil, and what do they do?

The Alliance council basically is there to help the leader run things.
In the council, there are vaious levels, and duties that go with each.
It is very important you choose your council carefully.
You want these members to be active, helpful and friendly.
- Council Levels and Duties -
Cohort - Access to Member Alerts, to help drive activity.
Ally - Access to Alerts, and Game panel to add some fun.
Peer - Able to do all the lead can, except pricing shop, and closing / disbanding.
